Palladium Apartments
Project Type
High-Rise Residential
Location
Southbank, Victoria
Located in Southbank, Palladium's 51-storey bronze facade and slimline form is part two of Salvo Property Group's vision for a landmark vertical village, standing boldly alongside its sister tower Platinum. Positioned a stone's throw from Melbourne's famous laneways, the Arts Precinct, the MCG, Yarra River Promenade and Crown Casino, Palladium is yet another bold, architectural contribution to a dynamic and evolving Melbourne skyline.
Palladium's mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses sit atop a podium housing commercial tenancies and car parking. Its residences enjoy breathtaking views across the CBD to the north, Albert Park and Port Phillip Bay to the south and the Royal Botanic Gardens to the east.
Internally, the design is seated in a sophisticated but hard-wearing palette of finishes. The journey from the street through the lobby is met with the coolness of external bluestone contrasted by the warmth of custom timber cladding and brass detailing, completed with a touch of vibrancy in the form of greenery.
The transition into the apartments is one of luxurious, stylised practicality. Apartments are fitted in one of two palettes: the Alabaster Palette's crisp whiteness and grey-stone for a brighter, airier feel, or the Onyx Palette's darker tones and black timber floors for an elegant, duskier feel. Kitchens are kitted with custom joinery, polished finishes and an enigmatic silver and dark grey mirror splashback. Bathrooms are embedded with hues of slate and clay to evoke a natural, earth-bound feel among the polish of chrome tapware and the semi-frameless shower.
Finally, as one moves up through the tower, their experience culminates in Palladium's communal offerings. Combining over 400sqm of indoor and outdoor space at the tower's pinnacle, Palladium's amenities include a terrace and lounge, landscaped BBQ areas, a bar and private dining rooms for entertainment alongside a pool, steam room and gym, all at 51 storeys above street level overlooking Melbourne's CBD, surrounds and beyond.
