The brief for Squillace was to reimagine Prema Bondi into an ultra-modern salon, whilst still retaining iconic elements of the original fit-out. Our design approach drew inspiration from the salon’s sleek and monochromatic ‘Anti’ hair care range. We developed a monochrome material pallet that explored contrasting textures - polished chrome, chalky hand trowelled render, glossy mirror, lacquered rustic timber. Aged brass is used throughout as a visual contrast to the black and white, and creates a statement entry in the salons reception.
